The Symposium “Consumers – Manufacturers of Compressors and Compressor Equipment” is a unique international forum of practical focus, held in the interests of organizations operating compressor equipment for all branches of industry.

The Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University has been holding the International Symposium “Consumers – Manufacturers of Compressors and Compressor Equipment” since 1994. As before, the three-day event will feature an exchange of practical experience and operational problems, an introduction to new compressor equipment for all industries, and the propagation of direct contacts for the modernization of existing or the creation of new compressor units, related equipment, turbine and electric drives.

The symposium is held on the basis of the scientific direction "Research of compressors, pneumatic systems and gas compression and processing facilities" of the Higher School of Power Engineering of the Institute of Power Engineering of SPbPU.

The event is traditionally attended by representatives of the largest Russian consumers - metallurgists, chemists, refrigeration, oil refineries, PAO Gazprom and its subsidiaries, PAO SIBUR Holding, PAO Novatek, PAO Gazprom Neft, NK Rosneft and others. The largest suppliers of compressor equipment and compressor units are participating - JSC Nevsky Zavod, JSC Compressor, JSC GMS Group, JSC Turbokholod, JSC Engineering Center KRONSHTADT, NPO Iskra, LLC NPF EnTekhMash, JSC NPF Nevintermash, LLC Krasnodar Compressor Plant and many others; as well as scientists and engineers from industry research institutes and universities located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Omsk and other cities. Information about the Symposium is communicated to interested companies from BRICS countries.

Meetings of the Council of Chief Mechanics of Russian and CIS Oil Refineries will be held jointly and in parallel with the Symposium. Chief mechanics of oil refineries will take part in the Symposium work program.

Papers on all aspects of the production and operation of compressors and compressor units are accepted for presentation at the Symposium, including:

operation, maintenance, repair of compressors and equipment

components and auxiliary equipment (bearings, seals, valves, heat exchangers, automation systems, etc.)

manufacturing and packaging technology
Theme 5
digitalization of production and operation

import substitution of production and modernization, etc.
Papers cannot be presented at other conferences or published in journals. Papers will be published digitally. Authors are expected to attend the conference to present papers in person.

Venue and Accommodation

The modern IMET Scientific & Educational Building has comfortable halls equipped with everything necessary for conferences and other types of business and educational events. It is situated in the northern part of St. Petersburg near the University Campus within walking distance from “Ploshchad Muzhestva” metro station.
